Neighbors Share With Neighbors About Kumpi!!

Evy,

I have good news! My neighbor came up to me today and said the dogs are doing FANTASTIC on Kumpi!!! They're no longer sick, but not only that, the poop is 'normal' finally. She also said that the Westie has always pooped like crazy, it seemed like he was just pooping everything he was eating and nothing was left for him yet he remained 'bloated'... needless to say, he's not pooping as much anymore and both dogs have a lot more energy than they've had in a very long time!!

She had a hard time returning the old dog food, as she had an unopened bag. Even with her receipt they argued with her about returning it because they didn't think anything was wrong with the dog food, so they didn't think it was a legitimate reason for her to return it. She told them it doesn't matter, she has an unopened bag and her recent receipt, they're obligated to return it, it even states so on the receipt. Finally they did, but not without it being a complete hassle.

Anyways, I just wanted to let you know how excited my neighbor is with Kumpi!!! :-D

Talk to you soon!

Cool Testimonial!!

hi evy... just want to tell you that not only has Kumpi worked for my JRT with kidney failure ( he is like a new dog, bouncy and healthy) BUT my Aussie of 14 years with bad hips and a vacant look in his eye now has a new lease on life... He is much sharper than before (mentally speaking) and is getting around much better as well ( without his arthritis medicine). Thought you would like to know about two more success stories!!! carol

Senior vs Adult Dog Food

Hi Evy,
I have 3 dogs: 2 senior dogs, who are both in their teens. The other one is 2 years old. I bought the senior dog food for the old guys and the adult for the young guy. What exactly is the difference? Would it be okay to have my younger guy on the senior food, or would he end up lacking nutrients? I’m due to buy my cats more food (I have 8). They never leave any of it behind like they did the cheap stuff.
Shannon

Hiya Shannon ~

Well, even with dog's in their teens, it doesn't mean that it's time for the senior formula. The senior formula is meant for the dog that just can't burn off the calories in the adult formula with 'normal' feeding. The biggest difference between the senior and adult formula's are the protein/fat levels - so you aren't ever losing nutrient value between the two. More and more anecdotal evidence leads to keeping dogs on the adult formula as long as possible, since their need for protein and fat don't really decrease until their activity level just drops so low that they cannot burn off the calories. Fat/protein are part of the system that fuels the body's ability to regenerate i.e. bone, blood, marrow, cells and IMHO and people I respect, bottoming that out prematurely can actually turn a dog into a senior if they don't have access to those nutrients.

As you see, there isn't a blanket answer for a dog just by age. Like people they are all so different; but I definitely wouldn't have a two year old dog on the senior formula at such low protein and fat. Some Dalmatians, just by breed proclivity, do better on a lower fat diet; but overall, a dog's best bet is the adult formula. And an FYI, Kumpi Adult Dog Food is an All Life Stages formula.

Thanks for writing!!

Evy

Irritable Bowel Feedback

I just wanted to drop you a quick line and let you know we have just about finished the first bag and put in a order for the second bag of kumpi. We have two dogs and they seem to love kumpi. The german shepard has irritable bowel and has trouble with most food but has done great on kumpi. We have noticed an improvement in both of their coates. We are really excited to have the opportunity to purchase a dog food that is so healthy for our dogs.Thank you very much Evy for your pursuit of such a nutritious dog food.

Sincerely, Chris and Susan
