Considering The Cat Food??

My husband and I have three Maine Coon cats, of which two are retired show cats. As you may be aware, Main Coons have very long, shaggy coats. We have always had difficulty with hairballs with all of our cats who have ever graced our home. This was certainly true of our Maine Coons. Since feeding them KumpiKat, we NEVER have hairballs! This is truly amazing. KumpiKat is a miracle cat food. Our kitties love the food and their coats continue to be silky and shiney, even though they are becoming senior citizens. Tim and I recommend this exceptional cat food to anyone who has cats!

Fancy?? Trend??

When I got to Vitamin Cottage, I said to the stocker, you must sell alot of this! He said, ya, its not the best label though..I said, well, I have tried the best labels..my dog doesn't do well on "fancy"...and let me tell you....poor guy heard it-from an enthusiastic shopper. I explained FANCY and TREND are NOT the best...but basic, clean, and made with intention are the stronger products. He looked puzzled then said, ya, we have some very loyal customers for Kumpi, that's for sure! LOL.

Fancy and trend aren't of any value to me. I wasn't trying to start a pet food company 13 years ago - I just wanted to be able to refer a food with a clear conscience. That and losing my own dog to cancer so young really hit home. If YOU could start a pet food company and have access to such a premiere multi-species nutritionist to formulate your product, Kumpi is what you'd be doing. Nutrition is it's own science and sadly, marketing and advertising are much flashier. But the results will tangibly show why Kumpi products are such a great product for your pet and a value for your pocketbook.

Shout Out To K9 Mako !!

K9 Mako is a 3-year old dark sable German Shepherd from Czecho-slovakia. K9 Mako serves the Manassas City Police Department in Virginia. K9 Mako is certified as a Patrol Utility K9 which includes tracking, building searches, locating articles and evidence, and apprehending criminals. He is also certified as a Narcotics Detection K9, capable of finding the odors of many illegal narcotic substances, including pills and other drugs.

K9 Mako lives with his Handler, Officer Russ McAndrews, and enjoys chasing his toys when he is not howling at fire truck sirens. K9 Mako enjoys watching COPS on television and frolicking in the snow.

K9 Mako is certified through the Virginia Police Canine Association, and has won several awards for his service. K9 Mako recently won the 2010 VPCA Narcotics “Case Of The Year” award for his work with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) in closing a narcotics case where $35,000 in cash was seized along with a firearm and ballistic vest. K9 Mako also won the 2010 Iron Dog Narcotics Vehicle Search award in the VPCA’s annual Iron Dog competition.
